I guess I should have known this would be a waste of $15, but a positive review in Real Groove magazine convinced me it was going to be a satirical tour-de-force. No such luck: instead, it's a barely coherent series of admittedly outrageous and occasionally funny put-ons, and this does not a good film make. The whole carry-on seemed to lack any real target and any real point. Despite the obvious differences, at a comic level it is a sort of amateurish equivalent of something like American Pie or Wedding Crashers, but even more infantile, if you can imagine that. I'd really really recommend not going to see this - in fact don't even hire it on DVD! You have been warned, with a generous 2/10.
